"Once upon a time there were two little kids and they were writing a letter to Santa because he was coming to their house that night. They gave him some cookies too because he likes cookies.
Santa was so happy he gave them makeup in their stocking. And the two girls were princesses now with the makeup. Such beautiful princesses.
Because they were princesses the bad guy wanted them, but not to eat them up. He just wanted those girls. BUT.... we fighted him!! Rarrrr! And we won!
So suddenly we made our fort so we could be safe and it was a princess castle of our fort. Yay!!!
And we were tough in there and the monsters fighted us and we stabbed them. The bear came and the rattle snake came and the dragon came and the monster came and more bad guys came and we fighted them and were safe. Kenzie got the bear and I got the snake and stabbed him with my knife in his heart. So we are heros. And I'm the biggest hero and Mary is just wonderful. She's Jesus' mom."

I'm glad that ains isn't the only kid that writes very gorey stories! BTW at first I thought the picture of the girls on seth's back was you because of the hair...and I thought, boy, I never noticed that Karalenn's arms were that hairy! :)
Is it just me but is the Hippen Household the most CREATIVE and INVENTIVE on the planet? I swear - wherever I look you guys are gushing with fun and awesome ideas! I wish I were as fun as you!

I love the fort with Christmas lights- it totally reminds me of the forts we used to make when we were little. I love Kendyl's story- she's a hoot!

All that violence and creativness must have come from you Karalenn because when we were growing up we never built forts so we could be safe, or had shaving cream wars, or put dents in the walls with our butts, or killed bears, and snakes...
Hey, Sorry we missed you too! One of these days we'll connect again. Hope you guys have had a fun time down there. It sure looks like it! I hope to get together with you guys at some point once Anna and I have got a better "schedule" do you ever really get a schedule down for good? Probably not- maybe only at school w/ teaching!
